My Pink Pendibule

From both sides. This was my first pendibule. No pattern or anything. I should have made it slightly bigger, so the words would show better. And the words are "Pink, 'cause you are so very" from the Aerosmith song.

My Blackwork Pumpkin

This is a class I'm teaching in October for my EGA chapter. It's a completely reversible pattern stitched in two colors of Anchor on 28 ct. flax Cashel. I mounted it and finished the edge off with some Gloriana silk ribbon and then put it on a Halloween photo album.

Blackwork Pumpkin

I charted this back in April. This is a version on 32ct with two plies of Anchor floss.

Next I'll stitch it with one ply.

And then a version with white thread on black 32ct Belfast.

My First Post

A new blog for a new venture. I will officially nominate today as the beginning of my needlework design biz. Details will be slow in coming, but what will start as a trickle may become a flood.

It's here. It's started. That's my beginning.
